Selecting Simultaneous Interpretation Equipment: Wireless vs. Infrared Technology Applications

In today's cross-cultural communication, selecting suitable simultaneous interpretation equipment is crucial to ensure a seamless and efficient exchange of information. This article presents two types of GONSIN simultaneous interpretation equipment.

GONSIN FS-FHSS wireless simultaneous interpretation system

FS-FHSS wireless simultaneous interpretation system employs digital wireless communication and Gonsin's innovated FS-FHSS (Frequency Selecting - Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology. This system possesses exceptional anti-interference capabilities and broad bandwidth that provide CD-level audio quality and applies AES technique to encrypt data, ensuring security. The communication range covers distances between 50 and 500 meters, while signals can be transmitted omnidirectionally. The wireless simultaneous interpretation system features eight channels configured with a single antenna unit, thereby enhancing deployment simplicity and efficiency. Additionally, the system can modulate and transmit up to 16 channels simultaneously, enabling participants to select their desired language channel provided they possess either a handheld or headset receiver.

GONSIN infrared interpretation system

GONSIN infrared interpretation system is designed to provide audio distribution for up to 12 channels by utilizing cutting-edge infrared transmission technology. The system operates within the 2-6MHz frequency range, which is resistant to any distortion caused by hall lighting and radio interference. Therefore, it is highly recommended for application in various settings. business and government conferences, international conventions and other multilingual applications.

When choosing a simultaneous interpretation system, consideration should be given to the characteristics of the venue. Wireless simultaneous interpretation is suitable for large, open spaces, providing extensive coverage and flexibility for users to move freely. However, it comes with higher costs and requires attention to battery life. In contrast, infrared simultaneous interpretation is suitable for smaller, enclosed venues, offering higher security and privacy as the signal is less likely to penetrate walls. It is well-suited for relatively simple events, featuring longer battery life and a more stable connection.

GONSIN offers simultaneous interpretation devices with two different technologies to meet diverse venue needs. Whether it's the flexibility of wireless technology or the focused transmission of infrared technology, GONSIN's devices cater to various environments. This dual-technology approach allows clients to choose the most suitable option for their venue characteristics, providing innovative solutions tailored to specific requirements.
