Common Faults of Intelligent Conference System and Methods to Deal with Intelligent Conference System


When there is noise or feedback in the speaker of the smart conference system:


Solution:


  • Insufficient battery power or too loud amplifier volume may cause noise, it is recommended to replace the microphone battery or lower the amplifier volume.


  • The microphone is too close to or directly facing the speaker, which may cause feedback. Adjust the distance and angle between the microphone and speaker. High amplifier volume may also cause feedback, try lowering the volume.


Conferencing System

When the microphone of the smart conference system audio system is silent:


Solution:


Check if the discussion microphone battery is dead, if the wireless microphone receiver is powered on, and if the connection between the receiver and mixer is loose.


When the speaker of the smart conference system audio system does not work:


Solution:


  • Check if the amplifier of the PA system for conference room is turned on or if the socket that provides power to the amplifier is powered on. Users often turn off the device's power together with the system.


  • If the amplifier is turned on, check if the system is muted or if the amplifier's output volume is turned down so low that the speaker doesn't produce sound or produces a low volume.


  • If the amplifier is turned on, the volume is adjusted, and the speaker still does not produce sound, check if the mixer is turned off.


When the projector in the smart conference system does not display:


Solution:


The phrase "the projector does not display" usually has two descriptions: A. The projector is not powered on; B. The projector is powered on but does not display. Check step by step as follows:


Step 1: Determine if the projector is working properly.


Question 1: Is the projector's power switch turned on and is the indicator light on?


If the indicator light does not come on after powering on, it means that the projector has a problem. In general, the hard power switch of the user's projector is always on, and the power indicator light is always on. Among them, the yellow light is waiting; the green light is normal; the red light is powered on.


Question 2: Is the LAMP light or TEMP light always on or flashing? (Displaying red)


If the LAMP indicator light is red, it means that the projector's lamp is damaged and the user needs to replace it.


If the TEMP indicator light is red, it means that the projector is in an error state and cannot display, and the projector is in a self-protection state or the hardware is damaged.


Question 3: Let the user directly connect the computer to the projector. Does the projector display? Is the port setting of the projector's signal receiver correct? (For example, is it a VGA receiver port?)


If the projector does not display after a direct connection, it means that the projector has a problem. If the projector displays normally, it means that other related devices or connection cables connected to the projector have problems.


Step 2: If the projector is determined to be working properly, check other devices connected to the projector, such as desktop outlets, matrices, VGA distributors, and their connecting cables.


Question 4: Is the matrix powered on?


If the VGAS matrix is turned off, all VGA signals will be unable to switch to the projector. Check if the power plug board is powered on. If the matrix is not lit after power is applied, it means that the matrix has a problem.


Question 5: Is the desktop outlet powered on?


If the power indicator light of the desktop outlet is not on, it means that the desktop outlet is not powered on and cannot transmit signals. Check if the power plug board has power. If the indicator light of the desktop outlet does not light up after power is applied, it means that the desktop outlet has a problem.


Question 6: Is the VGA distributor powered on?


If the power indicator light of the distributor is not on, it means that it is not working and cannot transmit signals. Check if the power plug board connected to it has power. If the indicator light of the distributor does not light up after power is applied, it means that the distributor has a problem.


If all of the above devices are powered on normally, it is necessary to determine whether the matrix, desktop outlet, distributor, and cable have quality problems. At this time, maintenance personnel need to come on-site for repairs.


Cannot turn on or turn off the lighting in the lighting control system of the smart conference system?


Symptom: The lighting control system in the smart conference system cannot be turned on or off.


Cause analysis: The module in the relay does not actuate or disconnect.


Solution: If this phenomenon occurs occasionally, you can gently tap the module inside the relay to make it actuate or disconnect. If it occurs frequently, notify maintenance personnel to check the site.
